Senior Spotlights - 4/7/2017
Cheyenne Howald, of Neoga, is the daughter of Amanda Gavis and Jason Gavis. In her spare time, she enjoys eating, sleeping, socializing with a select few people and her dog. She participated in cross country, and she earned a varsity letter. After graduation, she will attend Lake Land College to major in psychology. Then, she will transfer to Southern Illinois University to become a family counselor.
Kacie Jane Hotze, of Sigel, is the daughter of Doug and Amy Hotze. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, hanging out with friends, and watching Netflix. She has been active in SADD, Healthcare Club, and volleyball. She has received the following awards/recognition: 3 year letterman in basketball, 2 year letterman in track, 3 year letterman in volleyball, and honorable mention.
Heather Kistner, of Neoga, is the daughter of Sharon and Ron Kistner. In her spare time, she enjoys playing basketball, and participating in pep band, chorus, jazz band, and NOT theater. She has been active in Healthcare Club in high school. She has also become a certified nursing assistant. After high school, she will attend Lake Land College and transfer to a four-year university to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (pediatric nursing focus).
Ashanti Kamyla Kersey, of Neoga, is the daughter of Michelle Homann-Kersey and Andrew Kersey. She has been involved with the Healthcare Club. She has also lettered 3 years in volleyball, and she has received honorable mention. After graduation, she will attend Lake Land College to study nursing.
