The Y’s Kid Program is a collaborative effort offered by the Neoga School District and the Neal Center YMCA. It’s a safe, comprehensive program for K – 5th graders that gives parents peace of mind, knowing your children are being taken care of by the YMCA after school staff. Our daily schedule includes a snack/drink, opportunity to complete homework, large group games, stationed activities, free play and a fun environment for your child to learn and grow. The time for this program is after school 2:40 – 5:30pm, and on early out days from dismissal time till 5:30pm. The Y’s Kid Program follows the Neoga School calendar. Program is not held if school is canceled or dismissed early due to weather.
Parents must sign a contract schedule. After School Care is billed through automatic bank draft. Payment is not based on attendance. The YMCA does not discourage any child from participating due to inability to pay. Please return completed applications to the Neoga Elementary School office or Mattoon Area Family YMCA.
