Human Anatomy Field Trip
The high school human anatomy class visited the laboratory at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center on February 27. While at the lab, students got to observe and talk with lab scientists in the blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology and histology departments. A memorable highlight was observing specimens in the pathology lab. The trip coincided with completion of the blood chapter in class, and was a valuable learning experience for the students, who are all considering careers in various health fields.
