Science Olympiad

The high school Science Olympiad team competed at Parkland College on March 9.  Several students earned medals for their efforts. 

On the varsity team:

  • Brittany Krampe and Kinsey Romack earned 5th place in Anatomy & Physiology.
  • Chase Banning and Trenton Moore earned 4th place in Boomilever and 4th place in Mousetrap vehicle, with help from Ellie Clark.
  • Delanie Romack and Anna Miller earned 4th place in Fossils.
  • Cassie Buescher earned 5th place in Mission Possible, with help from Kinsey Romack.
  • Victor Ludwig and Gabe Henderson earned 4th place in Sounds of Music.
  • Kate Baker and Delanie Romack earned 5th place in Wright Stuff.

 

On the JV team:

  • Maggie Rentfro and Gracie Gresens earned 2nd place in Boomilever and Thermodynamics.
  • Grant Worman and Isaac Walk earned 2nd place in Codebusters and Fossils. Isaac also earned 2nd place in Dynamic Planet.
  • Brooke Kenworthy earned 1st place in Mousetrap vehicle, with help from Maggie Rentfro.
  • Brooke Kenworthy and Rylee Peterson earned 2nd place in Sounds of Music.
  • Josh Himes earned 1st place in Wright Stuff, with help from Myah Wright.
  • Olivia Titus and Trenton Moore earned 2nd place in Write it Do it.
