ArtI & Art II Projects
In 12 class periods, Art I & Art II students worked diligently to create Cardboard Reliefs and Cardboard In-The-Round Sculptures. Students sketched out their design first and broke it down into puzzle form. The Cardboard Relief was created with layers of cardboard laid out like a 3-D puzzle using acrylic paint and charcoal to finish. The Cardboard In-The-Round sculptures were made to be free standing from cardboard and finished with acrylic paint. Students learned you can create something from nothing, and at a low expense. Cardboard, hot glue, paint, and charcoal were the total supplies used.
