Introduction to Psychology
The High School Psychology class recently finished their opening unit on the introduction to Psychology and the personality traits of an effective leader. To complete the unit the class was split into four groups and then asked to cooperatively build a structure out of index cards and masking tape. Students were allowed to talk for three minutes and then work for 10 minutes with no talking and then 3 minutes at the end they could talk again. The goal was to see who could build the tallest, most stable and most creative building. Upon completion the group discussed the different leadership traits that they saw in each other and the frustrations of the task.
