*Attention Messenger Club:  T-shirt order forms are located outside Mrs. Martin's room.  Order forms and money are due this Friday (11/16).  There will be a Messenger Club meeting during lunch tomorrow (Thursday).  

*T-shirt money for Healthcare Club is due no later than Friday!

*Seniors:  We need white Christmas lights, some of you still need to pay for your class t-shirts and we still need many of your baby pictures!

*Homecoming tickets are now on sale!  Tickets purchased in advanced are $5; tickets at the door will be $7.  Tickets will be sold at lunch.  If your date is not a Neoga High School student, you will need to have a dance agreement signed and returned.

*There is no Messenger Club meeting today.

*Seniors!!  Only half of you have paid for your shirts.  You NEED to pay for your shirt ASAP!  Also, it is time to turn in your baby and senior pictures.  Baby pictures need to be given to Mrs. Bridges by the end of 1st semester.  And as soon as you have a senior pictures ready-- please give a copy to Mrs. Bridges. 

*The Michael Hindman Teacher Education Scholarship is now available to any student who plans to pursue a career in education.  It is due March 1st.  See Mr. Davis for information and an application.

*Please turn in all volleyball uniforms and warm-ups by the end of the week to the office.

*Sophomores, Sophomores, Sophomores!  Due date for selling spirit shirts is this Friday.  Due date for getting your class shirt is also this Friday.  Only a few days left!

*The Strong Beginnings Board of Directors would like to thank the National Honor Society, High School Student Council, Jr. High Student Council, and the FFA for their Raffle Basket contributions for the Fall Festival and Fundraiser held this past weekend.  The raffles brought in $506 for the center.  Also, thank you to those seniors who volunteered their time that day to help run the events.  

*The Freshmen Class is selling poinsettias.  Order now through November 16th.  They will be delivered shortly after Thanksgiving.

*A big thank you to the Junior and Senior High school students and staff who participated in the Heavenly Hats day.  We collected $157.40 to donate to this worthy cause. 

*Any senior who is hoping to graduate early and has not been given an application from Mr. Davis should see him as soon as possible. 

*Seniors -- You MUST stop by and see Mrs. Bridges TODAY.  Again-- seniors you MUST see Mrs. Bridges TODAY!

Thursday, October 18

*There will be a meeting for any high school girl interested in playing basketball this year on Friday during lunch in Room 15.  Bring your lunch with you. 

*Don't forget this Friday is Heavenly Hats Day.  Just pay $1 and you can wear your favorite hat (no —hoodies are not considered a hat).  Pay your dollar before school Friday. 

*There will be a Prom committee meeting on Monday during lunch in Room 15.  This meeting is open to any Junior that would like to be a part of the Prom committee.  

*Juniors—there is a sign up sheet for concessions for boys home basketball games posted outside of Room 15.  Please sign up to help.

*Thank you to all students and staff who participated in the blood drive.  We had 43 people attempt to give blood and 39 were able to give.  Next blood drive is in February.  Remember if you are 16, you can give with the proper parent permission slip. 

*Don't forget this Friday is Heavenly Hats Day.  Just pay $1 and you can wear your favorite hat that day (No -- hoodies are not considered a hat.)  Pay your dollar this Thursday during lunch or before school Friday

*The Illinois Chemical Education Foundation is offering a scholarship to those students majoring in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Education.  See Mr. Davis for information.  It is due February 22nd.  

*Juniors & Seniors!  Post Prom needs your help to work concessions Thursday, October 18th.  Please sign up in the office.  

*The National Honor Society will be holding Heavenly Hats Day on Friday, October 19th.  Heavenly Hats is a nonprofit organization that donates hats to patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy or other serious illness.  The money we raise goes towards the price of purchasing hats and the cost of sending the hats to hospitals and patients.  Students who donate one dollar will be permitted to wear a hat to school on Friday (October 19th).  Crazy, unique, colorful, and stylish hats are strongly encouraged.  Sign up for the event will be Thursday during both junior and senior high lunch hours at the concession stand.  You can also sign up on Friday, the 19th, before school starts.  We have a goal of raising $120, and will be taking a group pictures on Friday during lunch period to send to the organization, as well as for yearbook and Messenger.  We encourage as many students and staff as possible to participate.

*Reminder to all students!  Picture day is tomorrow.  Please make sure to bring  your picture order forms.  If you need an order form, some are available in the office and online.  Fall sports pictures will also be tomorrow afternoon. 

*A reminder to the Class of 2020, t-shirt designs for your class t-shirt are due next Friday, October 5th.  Please share your ideas with Ms. Romack.

*Last call for Juniors to sign up to help work at the SooeyFest this Saturday.  If we don't have enough help we will have to cancel some of our games.  Please remember that if you don't help with class fundraisers you will be required to pay to go to Prom. 

*There will be a cheerleading meeting in Coach Martin's room during lunch today.  Please plan to attend.

*Attention students:  Come visit the Messenger Club stand at SooeyFest.  We will have goodies, nachos, and pie-in-the face stand.  It will be a delicious time.
