The National Honor Society held their Induction Ceremony on March 1st and welcomed 13 new members from the junior class into the organization. In order to be a member a junior must have at least a 4.5 GPA, be recommended by one faculty member and submit an application with two essay questions and an activity sheet showing their involvement in the areas of Character, Leadership and Service. The applicants then are reviewed by a faculty council and scored for their participation. Each candidate must have been recommended by at least 3 of the 5 council members.
