High School Students to Perform in Christmas Cantata
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThis year 4 high school students will be performing in the annual Neoga Community Christmas Cantata. Those students include Bailey Banning, Mahayla Oakley, Jared Cole and Ryan Evans. The cantata this year is entitled Majesty of Heaven by Tom Fettke. The students have been rehearsing since October to prepare for this year’s event. They will be part of a 35 piece choir made up of local residents as they sing a variety of contemporary, gospel and blues Christmas numbers that comprise the cantata arrangement and narration as it tells the Christmas story. The boys will also be featured in a special men’s number that is being sung acappella. To watch these students perform with our local area talent please attend the cantata on December 7th at 7pm or December 8th at 4pm at the Grace United Methodist Church.
