OUR MISSION

Neoga Community Unit School District #3 is committed to educating all students to be responsible, competent, and confident citizens who will make a positive contribution in our changing world.

Neoga Jr Sr High School is the only junior senior high school for Neoga School District #3. Neoga Township High School was established in 1909, although the first graduating class from the high school curriculum, took place in 1887, with six students.

Neoga is located in the northwestern corner of Cumberland County off of Interstate 57 and approximately 18 miles north of Effingham. U.S. Route 45 runs through the middle of town. Two major railroad systems have tracks that intersect on the south side of town. The majority of resisents are employed outside of town.

CURRICULUM:  Neoga High School provides a broad curriculum that encompasses both college preparatory and Career and Technical Skills. In all, 57 courses are offered to our 9-12th grades. In addition, Neoga partners with local Career Academies to offer an additional 20 dual credit courses, some of which lead to certifications (i.e., CNA license).
