Lake Land College Business & Computer Contest
Six Neoga High School students, Virginia Harris, AJ Henderson, Ethan O’Dell, Trey Sheehan, Micah Staszak, and Tyler Worthey, participated in the Lake Land College Business and Computer Contest.
Each student had to take an individual test—Virginia, Ethan, and Micah in accounting; Trey and Tyler in general business and current events; and AJ in MS Word.
AJ placed third in Microsoft Word and earned his MOS certification.
All six students had to work together as a team to complete a scavenger hunt type game using their phones to solve puzzles, find answers to questions, locate various places on campus using the app GooseChase. Of the 14 schools in attendance Neoga placed 2nd.
